Followed the tutorial in "Head First iPhone Development" Chapter two and managed to learn how to use UIViewPicker.
The completed app is supposed to be able to send tweets to a given Twitter account, but sadly it won't work because Twitter disabled basic authentication and would only allow tweeting via OAuth authentication.
Well, looks like my next research topic would be that then!

Learning IPhone Programming from the IPhone tutorial
Yay, finally got down to doing my first HelloWorld IPhone app by following the tutorial from Apple's Developer website.
You can download the PDF version of the tutorial here or view it as a webpage
Followed the tutorial ardously, but still, did not manage to get the keyboard to "auto-disappear" as it should have after pressing the "Done" key. Oh well, never mind, most of it still works anyway. ^.^
A screenshot of the application for memory's sake ;)

Getting Started With xcode
Just installed xcode from Apple Developer website and being a real noob to Mac, I couldn't even find the the shortcut to start up XCode just now!
Googled for help, though thinking inside my mind I am the only Iphone developer wannabe who can't even find the shortcut to start the IDE, but haha, ended up, I am not the only one
With some tinkling around, finally managed to locate the Xcode in "Macintosh HD->Developer->Applications->XCode".
To make life easier for myself, I pressed the "Command" key, selected the Xcode icon and dragged it to the Dock (the bottom bar of icons).
